Les Deux Alpes – Year Round Family Fun

High in the French Alps, along Europe’s largest mountain of Mont Blanc, is Les Deux Alpes, a magnificent ski resort tucked away in France’s Department Isere in Rhone-Alpes. This well-established ski village is the country’s second oldest ski resort and rests 1,650 metres above sea level providing more than 3,600 metres in ski runs. Although the name of the resort translates to mean ‘two alps’, the resort’s name actually refers to the two villages that surround it, Mont-de-Lans and Venosc. Once arriving via the convenient Grenoble airport transfers, you’ll soon notice that the resort of Les Deux Alpes is accessible by road, however the two encompassing villages can only be reached by gondola.
